This one is called "TommyKnockers", based on Stephen King's last epic sci-fi horror before he checked into rehab in 1987. In the novel Bobbi & her dog Peter find a metal object half buried in the woods - Bobbi becomes obsessed with digging it up, losing weight rapidly - her teeth falling out as she digs deeper. Peter's eyes start glowing green…

Before too long the entire village of Haven has been infected by the mind-reading alien 'Tommyknockers' buried in the Haven woods…

Ian Woolfe (lead guitar) provided the musical backbone for this one, incorporating more groove-metal elements than we've used before with a monstrous solo-section that works perfectly with the sci-fi horror feel.

Josh and Jack went along with the groove feel and put together a real beefy bass section that really ties all the different sections together and is also just heavy as hell. It was also Jack's first time recording with us since 2015. This track proves that he hasn't skipped a beat since back then & having the full line-up together made the recording sessions so much easier,

We recorded with genius sound engineer Dan Angelow over at Pitch Black Studios, Swansea. "TommyKnockers" is the best we've sounded in the studio and Dan had a lot to do with that - We got everything sounding great ahead of schedule which gave us the time to really perfect all the little details and make sure the mix was on point.

Dan also really got onboard with the whole inspiration for the track, helping me find different vocal techniques and effects to get that Stephen King - horror vibe. He even recorded us knocking on the outside on the metal studio door for the intro (which bloody hurt after multiple takes!!). Nothing was off the cards, nothing was too much effort and I'm sure we'll be back before long…
